I said I’m Naruto

And it finally ends with this episode,….the Gennou story.
Let’s get into it.

And there is the brainer of ‘m all; Shikamaru. Still figuring the who and what about the situation. Looks like he knows where to search.

Back at Naruto it seems that the whole place is covered with exploding tags. Gennou explains him that the back of the stone faces is very week and just by hitting the right venes will make the mountain collapse.
Just when it looks like everyone returns Genou tries to detonate the tags, Naruto is still capable to defend against the kunais.
And then Kiba and Akamaru come drilling into the structure!

Gennou was able to disappear just when Shino attacked him with the bugs. While trying to detonate a tag outside Gennou is stopped by Shikamaru´s Shadow Neck bind technique.
Though the old man still has some trick up his sleeves,….he emits some smokescreen and aims for another tag.
The whole gang seems to be there and already have Old man Gennou cornered.
Gennou is still able to find a tag and sets it off,….everything seems to explode and collapse though it´s all an illusion.
They figure it out but still Gennou won´t stop. He even gets to fight Lee.
The bird he summoned has some tags on it´s feet and is aiming for the Third´s face. So they have to come up with some plan to stop the bird. I would almost say: ‘Stop the pigeon!’ (You gotta know that line)

Naruto is going for some rasengan to burn this chicken down. He gets a helping hand from Chouji (literally) and even Hinata is using her byakugan to guide Naruto.
The music breaks in,…..and Naruto……misses,….Sakura throws a rock at the bird which gives Naruto the opportunity to hit it.
He sends the bird flying and banging in the air.

Gennou who is still alive leaves some last words and passes away.
We know that Gennou has done all of this to get revenge, but it was weird there weren’t any injured people in this.
They figure that Gennou had no real intention of crushing Konoha…..
According to Shikamaru it seems that Gennou had changed his mind on his plan while meeting Naruto, who looked just his dead son. He made a treasure hunt out of it all.

And while slurping Ichiraku’s ramen away,….this episode ends.

Not that bad of an ending,…..but it’s to mooshy mooshy for me. So Gennou wasn’t a bad guy after all…..he just wanted to have some fun…. Ah well.
I’m already happy it’s over,…..let’s see what follows.
