Here’s the second clip from the show Urbanation, and it’s about Extreme shopping!

First up is Ragout, a boutique in Harajuku where they customise sneakers out of materials you bring. Ragout uses light colored sneakers which are dyed. The most popular designs are cheap prints of American cartoon figures that you can select in the shop. Using stencils they cut out shoe-patterns. In the beginning they only glued the prints on, nowadays they sew them on by hand. The process takes 2-7 days, but if you ask politely you may get the next-day service. The Ragout boutique also has vintage clothing popular with 15-22 year old girls for their Harajuku cutie look.

The sneaker service is also popular with boys.
